The undersigned master 9.28 letter of the 23rd inst. informs me that the question of the Extradition of the prisoners Tang Kun and Chan a-kit, whose surrender I made application for on the 6th of the last month from the Bench, has been referred to the Law Officers of the Crown.
In connection with the above-mentioned case, I have now the honour to inclose copy of a correspondence which has passed between the Acting Colonial Secretary at Hongkong and the Solicitor who were instructed to represent the Canton authorities at the Judicial investigation of
